mobito began as a service-design idea and was developed into a web service and application. The project was implemented in an agile process with a multi-disciplinary team. We started with the mobile-first approach to reduce the complexity and achieve a result that pursued the simplest way possible. The challenge was to develop a totally new experience for the user using a new navigation concept, while creating the same experience in web and app.
mobito is a web service and hybrid app for iOS and Android. During the conception phase wireframes were created, user testing performed and a prototype developed to verify the new navigation bar style. In the first version of the product there are two main services, my.mobil and co.mobil. In the part of my.mobil you can manage your own car. You have access to different kinds of tools like a driver´s logbook, fuel-calculator, location tracker and many more. In co.mobil you can share an automobile with other.
